About Us
The Shenandoah Valley Watercolor Society is made up of artists of varying levels and interests
who enjoy meeting to discuss aspects of water media painting. SVWS meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the First Presbyterian Church at 17 N. Court Square
in Harrisonburg, Virginia..
Peer critiques are an important, fun, and helpful part of each meeting. Mini-workshops are regularly scheduled for minimum fees and are open to members and non-members. Biannual extended workshops are also held, instructed by nationally known watercolorists.
